Do You Have Any Questions?
Please read through our FAQs or call us at (847) 605-0280.
  • 1. What will it cost?
Since all patients are different, Dr. Silc must complete your examination before establishing your treatment plan and the fee of your care. The cost can vary considerably depending on the type of problems and the complexity and length of treatment. An approximate fee can usually be determined at the initial visit. However, further diagnostics and treatment must be completed before the final treatment cost can be confirmed.
  • 2. Will my insurance cover the cost?
Dental insurance policies often cover periodontal treatment. Please bring all medical and dental benefit information and cards to your examination appointment. Our team will help you through this process.
  • 3. Will it hurt?
Thanks to our gentle touch, the periodontal exam can be completed with little or no discomfort.
  • 4. What if I decide not to have gum treatment?
Periodontal disease is a progressive and often painless infection. Consider our treatment options as preventative. However, if issues arise and there is a delay in treatment, it can lead you to further complications and more expense.
