Office Team

Practice Manager

I am very proud to work with Dr. Silc and I am honored to work along side such committed team members.  I have been the practice manager for over 11 years. My clinical experience as a surgical assistant for 16 years with this same practice combined with my educational background prepared me to transition into my current position as the practice manager. As a surgical assistant continuing education was the most prominent part of my clinical experience. I love the changing health care field technology and the improvement of clinical products, implant systems, and all that contribute to improve patient treatment.  As the practice manager I remain a life long learner and love the opportunities to grow and contribute within this practice. With over 27 years in the dental field I truly love what I am doing. I  like the way we treat patients, like family, with care and respect.

Business Administrator

I have had the pleasure of being part of Dr. Silc’s team since 2007 utilizing my customer service background as a Business Administrator. I am passionate about being a patient advocate.  There is nothing like the satisfied look on a patients face when they’ve navigated the sometimes confusing world of insurance/financing and the unknown of treatment, to come out of their experience a healthier person with an even bigger better smile!  To calm fears, answer questions and make treatment possible, especially in a soothing environment is rewarding to me.  My wonderful husband Ted and I enjoy life in the Fox Valley area with our children, grandchildren and our two chihuahua’s  Molly & Gigi.

Business Administrator & Insurance Coordinator

I have worked with Dr. Silc since 2008. My goal is to make your experience a positive one by gathering all initial information so your first visit runs smoothly, putting our patients at ease. The other important area that I am dedicated to is working along side patients to help navigate their insurance benefits. I enjoy working with a team that is dedicated to providing the best care possible.

I love to travel, going to sporting events, spending time with family and friends. I am blessed to have two married children and five amazing grandchildren.

Registered Dental Hygienist

I received a bachelors of science degree from Indiana University Bloomington 2006, then graduated with high honors from the dental hygiene program at Harper College. I always knew that I wanted to work in health care because I enjoy getting to know people on a personal basis, while helping them. Being in the dental field allows me to continually meet with the same patients regularly , monitor their progress and educate them on the importance of oral health.  Prior to working at Dr. Silc’ office, I had always worked in general dental practices, but I have found that working in a periodontal practice is much more interesting and rewarding!  Dental hygiene is a career where you are a life- long learner, and I do continue to learn so much everyday at work while building relationships with my patients and coworkers.  when I’m not working, I spend time with my husband, Nick, daughter, Noelle and mini dachshund Abby.  I am passionate about being fit and healthy. I love to exercise and spend time outdoors with my family and friends.  I also love to travel and try to visit a different country at least once a year to taste different cuisines and experience other cultures.  Some of my other hobbies include reading, yoga, cooking and trying new restaurants.

Surgical Assistant

I love helping patients and the dental field gives me the perfect opportunity to connect with each patient. I graduated dental assisting school in 2015. I have been a team member at Silc Periodontics for about 2 years. I have also previously worked with a general dentist but find Silc Periodontics and the periodontics specialty a perfect fit for me. Calming patients fears, answering questions and assisting through procedures together is very rewarding. I enjoy my family and spending time with my husband Mitch and my daughter Remmy. We love to be outdoors and travel.

All my life I have had a passion for helping people, calming their fears and knowing when they leave our office they will leave with a great patient experience.
